Colonial Park Cemetery is located at 200 Abercorn Street, at the intersection of Oglethorpe Avenue, in the historic distrct of downtown Savannah. It became a city park in 1896, 43 years after the final burial there. The cemetery was established in 1750, when Savannah was the capital of the British Province of Georgia, the last of the Thirteen Colonies.
