The Hamilton-Turner House Inn, located at 330 Abercorn Street, was built by architect J.D. Hall in 1873 for Mr. Samuel Pugh Hamilton. The property overlooks southeast corner of Lafayette Square.
Across Gordon Sreet is the Flannery O'Connor House, and across the park is the Andrew Low House. The Cathedral of St John the Baptist is also nearby.
