The B. Mathews Eatery is located at 325 Bay Street, on the corner of Bay and Habersham Streets in Savannah's downtown historic district. It is just 1 block from the bank of the Savannah River and world famous River Street. Dating back to before 1800, this building is recognized as one of the oldest public taverns still operating in America today.
